Gimp wire (also known as 'French or Bullion Wire) is the fine coil of wire which you slip through the loop of thread that fits around your jump ring findings - most usually used with silk thread and pearls, this prevents the thread fraying and gives a more professional finish to your work. Approximately 40cm, suitable for wires upto 0.8mm diameter, outside diameter approx 1.1mm; note - may not be one continuous length.
