Gimp wire (also known as French or Bullion Wire) is the fine coil of wire which you slip through the loop of thread that fits around your jump ring findings - most usually used with silk thread and pearls, this prevents the thread fraying and gives a more professional finish to your work. Approximately 30cm, suitable for wires upto 0.65mm diameter, outside diameter approx 0.9mm.  This wire colour is dark gold.
