1 Murano 24kt Gold Foil Rose and Ruby Drop Bead – hole runs top to bottom through the bead.    As with all Murano, this is handmade glass so you may need to smooth either end with a file and use beadcaps to finish the drop – this shape is great for earrings.   Measures approx. 28 x  11 mm at the widest point. 

The glass core of the bead is wrapped with 24K gold foil which is then encased in glass and shaped to the finished size, in some cases the gold is exposed.

These beads (also known as Venetian Glass) are handmade on the island of Murano within the Venetian lagoon in Italy. The murano glass artisans are regarded worldwide as the masters of their art.
