1centimetre Sterling Silver Fine 0.6mm Foxtail Chain this is the loveliest chain to work with it will thread through Swarovski crystal and offers a variety of possibilities fix with our Sterling Silver necklace ends (STF243) depending on how many threads of the chain you want to use go from the thinnest finding through to the largest fix your beads in place using crimp beads neatly crimped and/or glue. the chain will pass through 4mm Swarovski bicones and above. Sometimes you will see good quality old beads (1930s thereabouts) strung on similar wire called Foxtail rather than stringing on thread this is also a great decorative Sterling Silver chain. 

Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver, the balance being a mixture of other metals including Copper, Zinc and Tin. The resultant alloy is harder and stronger than the soft pure Silver.

Although some items are stamped as Sterling silver, STS or 925, none are hallmarked since for items of less than 7.78 gr (¼ Troy ounce) this is not required.
