1 Murano Long Olive Focal Bead outside 24kt gold foil on a white base wrapped with rose / cranberry and gold aventurine leaving some of the foiling exposed other parts of the foil under the cranberry glass giving this colour a range of shades. Perfect as a focal bead for a necklace perhaps. The bead measures approx. 41 x 11 mm. Please note that any outer gold foil will wear over time when worn against the skin this is normal with this type of Venetian glass.

These beads (also known as Venetian Glass) are handmade on the island of Murano within the Venetian lagoon in Italy. The island of Murano has been dedicated to glass and bead making since the 14th Century. The murano glass artisans are regarded worldwide as the masters of their art.
