Our Magatama beads are sourced from Miyuki who have been manufacturing glass beads in Hiroshima, Japan since the mid 1930's.

Historically, Magatama beds are comma shaped beads, but today they are teardop shaped with an off centre hole.

There are approximately 300 beads in 25 grammes.
